Rated 5 out of 5 by Halley89 from Great Shape The shape is great it worked really good, I have a bathroom fan that I take apart every year and clean and the vent fan has a plastic blade that gets built up with gunk that I have to take off the motor, it has a compression ring that holds it on motor and this ring splitter worked just the way I wanted it to - great tool to have in your tool box. When I go fishing it will be a must have.

To start I actually had to look up what all the features where for; therefore, the only cons are that were no instructions or diagram for what every feature is used for. I really did have to go and look everything up; so when a tool boasts multiple uses, they should be described at least a little. The other con is the blades in the wire cutting part did not sit flush together. The teeth did not line up well together; seems like the head of the tool was miss-aligned but despite that, the tool still serves its purpose. The handle is amazing, not only non-slip and easy for someone with small (like mine) to large hands to use, but it is actually appealing to look at. Knowing this is integrated titanium making it a harder steel, is nice; therefore, I do not need to be delicate as I have with past tools for wire cutting and ring splitting. The slots on the side are perfect for jumprings (I am sure that is what they are there for), which I use a lot.

The split ring nose is perfect for small and larger rings. I build many lures so these pliers have gotten a work out and I've only had then a few days! A+++
