| Product Description
This 4" Cuda Fillet knife features precision ground edge and a Titanium Bonded, 4116 German Stainless Steel blade that will resist corrosion. Full tang construction for increased durability. Handle is Cuda scale pattern, non-slip grip.

Exceptional Durability

Titanium bonded, German 4116 stainless steel makes the knife blade 3x harder than untreated steel, while also providing exceptional corrosion and adhesive resistance. Not only that, but you can expect unparalleled edge retention over time thanks to the titanium bonding treatment, keeping your blade sharp across countless cuts.

Full-Tang Construction

With the titanium bonded blades extending all the way through the handles, the grip of this knife will be among the sturdiest in your tackle box.

Precision Performance

The smaller blade profile and precision ground edge allows you to make accurate cuts on your smaller catches with ease.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Grip on a filet knife ever! Aside from being the perfect size for all of my smaller filleting jobs, and the fact that the knife holds an edge really well, the GRIP on this knife is awesome! It's not just the shape of the grip, but the material that it's made from, too. It does NOT SLIP out of your hand while cleaning slippery fish! It's really hard to filet fish with a knife without a sharp edge (or one that dulls quickly) but a knife that slides out of your hand can be unsafe as well. This has become my favorite filet knife and I've already bought two more to give as gifts!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great little knife. Well balanced and sharp. Of course this knife is designed as a filet knife and is well suited for that purpose. The blade is extremely sharp and flexible and works great on small fish. The textured grip makes for sure handling, even with wet or fish-slimed hands. The blade holds an edge well. An added bonus is all the other uses for this compact little gem. I've used it extensively for trimming out wild game and other meat. It works great for trimming fat and silver skin and is well suited for all but the heaviest carving. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is the lack of an included sheath. A full sheath would not only protect the blade, but also the user. This sharp. pointy little knife is easy to overlook in a drawer and the exposed blade could easily cause an accident.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from High Quality and usability. I picked this knife up at Walmart because i liked the way the handle felt and looked. I actually used it for processing up a deer this winter, and i loved how comfortable this knife felt in my hand and fingers. it was stiff enough to control my blade, but flexed around the boned and such without dulling as fast as most of my other knifes. resharpens nicely too. i use it in the kitchen a lot, and so does the wife, i feel like it is a lot safer knife then most my thin fillet knifes are. Will be buying more!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great knife, how am supposed to carry it around? I used this knife to fillet some early spring bluegill, and it does that task very well. Cooking freshly caught pan fish is real treat. What was difficult was transporting the sharp knife safely. I ended up, wrapping it in a towel. Not sure why a basic sheath does not come with the knife? Overall the Cuda 4" Titanium bonded fillet knife is a quality item, but lacking proper knife sheath it's dangerous to transport to the lake.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from You won't reget purchasing this knife! Opening day of trout season was on March 1 and my daughter and I have been 3 times already. Having this Cuda 4" Titanium Bonded Fillet Knife has been a great item to have along on our fishing trips. We always fillet our rainbow trout and have found this knife to have a sharp blade, a firm grip, and is easy to use. The 4" is exactly right for the size of fish we have been catching.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It works well and is sharp out of the package I received this knife for review and it has good ergonomics and is sharp out of the package. I used this on several fish and it works well on smaller fish. It is easy to guide and control. I even used it on chicken and it works well for that too. I would change only one thing and that would be to make the blade more flexible, but, otherwise a great knife.

What angle is the edge? I have a Lansky knife sharpener and was wondering what angle to sharpen it at. I Love the knife so far!

Asked by: Nick13618
Hi Nick, We are happy to hear that you love your Cuda knife. We generally recommend that you sharpen this between 18 and 22 degrees. Hope this helps. Thanks for the question! The Cuda Team

Although similar what are the fundamental differences between the boning and filleting knife? Any specific recommended application for the two? I'm assuming the boning knife is more flexible for meats, chicken, and other proteins.

Asked by: dman
This is a great question. The boning knife has a flexible blade and is used for removing bones from meat, chicken and fish. Fillet knives however are even more flexible and used for filleting fish, etc. they are designed to bend and move along the backbone, under the skin of the fish. We hope this helps.
