Rated 5 out of 5 by from SHARP, TOUGH So I used this knife to process a deer this weekend and it worked beautifully. It was Sharp enough to cut through muscle and tendon. And heavy duty enough to separate joints. The rubberized handle had plenty of grip even when my hands were covered in blood. After about three hours of heavy duty cutting, slicing, and chopping this knife is still just a sharp as when I took it out of the package. if you do any work with meats you need this knife!!!! Fantastic !!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Features I've had this knife about a month the size is impressive the handle I love it fits your hand just right, the knife slices thru roasts like butter but not very good on small items what I tried it on was a sweet potato (that time of year) I tried to slice thin slices from uncooked sweet potato which is firm but had hard time. Other then that I like the knife. For fishing, it's wrong time of year for me.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Big knife for a big job. This is an awesome knife for butchering a steer, hog, or deer. Its length allows a good deep cut through a hind quarter or shoulder. The handle is nice excepting the hump that allows the index finger to have a firm grip is a little large end doesn't allow for a perfect fit in my hand. It is nothing that would keep me from purchasing the knife, since it serves its purpose well.

The handle is comfortable to use for extended periods of time. Though it was a bit heavier than expected I could see where the weight could possibly help with thicker meats.

I just bought your 10" butcher knife and 6" curved boning knife. Do you make sheaths for these or can you recommend blade guards that will work? Thanks.

What sort of sharpening stone do you use to sharpen the knife
