Cuda 9" Titanium Bonded Flex Fillet Knife is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 10.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome for Cleaning Large Fish! When filleting larger catches, it's always a challenge to get a clean cut with a standard knife. I love this one because not only is it longer, but the blade is sharp enough and stiff enough to get a clean cut all the way to the tip. It has enough flexibility to move wherever, and when needed. Also, I noticed that it stayed sharp throughout the entire cleaning process. When cleaning lots of fish, it's great to not have to stop to resharpen. (I usually sharpen my knives before cleaning a mess of fish) but it's a real convenience to not have to stop several times while doing so.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy Grip, Sharp, Flexible Knife We finally got to go fishing since I received this knife. We caught several nice sized northern pike which I have to say, this knife was the perfect knife for filleting them. It was very sharp right out of the package and it stayed sharp through filleting our fish all weekend. Usually my hands will cramp up after I fillet one or two fish, but because of the easy grip handle, and the flexibility of the knife I was able to keep on filleting without taking any breaks. This knife is a keeper!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cool knife The first impression was the weight and grip. The blade is very sharp and flexible, I t really cuts well. The only thing I was disappointed in was no sheath. I think by not having a sheath you run the risk of someone cutting themselves. I really seems like the knife is really dough and a good grip.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Knife For The Boat & The House! I really enjoy using this knife, not just for the fishing side of things but also for my other passion, BBQ! It is great for filleting a fish and also trimming large cuts of meat quickly and efficiently. It is super sharp and the weighting is really good. I highly recommend this knife!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stays sharp! I have used many filet knives and must say this one is a winner! It's ergonomic handle, well-weighted and keeps its edge! I've used this on fish and meats and even without sharpening touch-ups, it cuts through like buttah!

Hello and thanks for your question. We do offer two different sharpeners that will work with your Cuda Fillet Knife, items #18839 and #18097. Both sharpeners be found on our website. We also highly recommend using a USA-made DMT diamond sharpener, check them out at dmtsharp.com. We hope this helps. Regards, The Cuda Team

Is the blade a full 9"?

Asked by: yosemite sam
Hello, Thanks for your question. The length of the cutting edge of the blade should be very close to 9", within 1/4" tolerance. We hope this is helpful. Regards, The Cuda Team

Just bought a Cuda 9 fillet knife, what do you recommend as the best sharpener for this?

Asked by: Jeff
Hi Jeff, great question! We offer two sharpeners that would work well - Item #18839 which suctions to a clean, flat, dry surface or item #18097 which is handheld. Both will sharpen non-serrated knives like your 9" fillet knife and shears. Item #18097 will also sharpen hooks. Another option would be to purchase a sharpener from our DMT brand https://www.dmtsharp.com/ Stay sharp! Regards, The Cuda Team
