Rated 4 out of 5 by IndyMojo from Cuba 8" Snips Extremely high quality metals, spring, nut/bolt. The serrated edges where more like razor blade or my JA Heckels kitchen knives, very sharp and never dulled over my weekend of use. I would have liked to see the grip material just a little thicker. I made up some pike lures with my wire. The integrated wire cutter build into the bottom of cutting blades cut thru 58LB wire like cutting thru butter without a bend in the wire due to a dull edge. I felt the harder plastic underneath the somewhat rubber non slip material. Not have one i Added a lanyard to the grips via the predrilled hole on grip end. The floating lanyard gave me piece of mind working around the boat since i've been known to drop things overboard.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Rockon from Sharp Blades, cuts well I've had my pair for at least 3 years , they cleaned up well, a little lubrication here and there. However, the lower handle on both sides have separated on the inside of the handle, a little gorilla masking tape and they work O.K. Now today the spring broke, and I just read that you do not supply replacement springs. It's great to have a lifetime warranty however part of your warranty qualifications require you to submit the original packaging the tool came in. These days, who keeps the original, vacuum plastic package? certainly, not many... As a fisherman I use these at least twice a year surf fishing. Salt is not an issue as the snips get rinsed after each daily use. Did you ever think of using a stainless spring? Disappointed with your warranty procedure, may or may not make another purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by KathyD from Cool Tool I really like these 8" Snips. They are very sharp and cut very well. I have used them to cut an anchor rope and to cute my fishing line. I really like how the grip feels, very easy to hold and your hands don't slip. The Cuda 8" Titanium Bonded Snips are a great addition to my tackle box. I think they are great and I will get alot of use out of them. They are made very well and I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs snips.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jennifer from Great features. My new kitchen scissors! The grip is so appealing and durable. No slipping in the hands even after a lot of meat. These would make a great gift to my "fishing loving" brother. These have replaced my kitchen scissors/shears. The blade stays sharp after making my dinners for the month (prepping dinners/freezer meals); cutting through meats and vegetables. Used the wire cutter for cutting fine wire (not at the same time as testing on food) and it did not dull out; the last cut was as quick and smooth as the first. The best part about these is the spring must be internal like with the screw, there is no spring on the outside to pop off or catch on something. I love that these open as if the spring was on the outside without the issues. I cannot wait for fishing season to try these out the way they are meant to be used.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Bryan from Great tool! I bought these snips because my last set ended up in the drink. I've seen the ads for Cuda brand and thought to give them a try. I'm mostly a freshwater guy except for a few times a year down south; these snips worked great cutting these chicken livers for catfish on the Grand in a couple days. The grips don't slip and the hidden spring in the blades worked awesome. The snips were extremely sharp out of the package; too bad I didn't have another pair to open the package with!

Rated 4 out of 5 by yakkin from Great Multipurpose Scissors Heavy duty, super sharp. Great for cutting through mono, braid and wire. Also can be used to easy make cut bait. Spring loaded handle includes a loop for a lanyard attachment. Even sharp enough to cut cleanly through fabric. These are a great pair of multi purpose scissors that will definitely last you a long time. Only con for these would be they are awkward to hold for smaller hands.

Rated 5 out of 5 by EvaK from Not Just For Fishing! I love these Cuda 8" Titanium Snips! I make jewelry and used these snips to cut wire, fishing twine, braided rope and plastic canvas. I use these in making bracelets and necklaces. The snips are easy grip, lightweight, and I love the closure hook on the handles. These are great for crafting as well as fishing!
