Rated 5 out of 5 by Butch from Sharp and Durable!!! I have had these shears about a month now and they have held up great. Originally, I bought them to use on the boat and kayak, however for the last few weeks my wife has kept them in the kitchen. She said they fit her hands great. When cutting with wet hands she has no issues of them slipping around due to the rubber coating on the handle. They have been in saltwater on several occasions and all I do is rinse them off with fresh water at the end of the trip and they coating has not rusted a bit. I would recommend them to any fisherman that needs a good shear on the water.

Rated 5 out of 5 by ebrameister from Handy Marine Shears I think this item are really handy. They cut fish and cut braided line. I really find them really useful. I also thing they are good quality. I also like the fact that they come apart. I find integrated fish scaler very useful. I really like the grips. Thane only thing, it should have a sheath to be able to carry them on your side.

Rated 5 out of 5 by CaptClo from Awesome shears for fishing! I purchased these shears a few months ago, being a little skeptical of the quality, however was I surprised. When I received them, I noticed right away that these were legit. Solid construction and razor sharp blades. The Grips were very overbuilt as well. My kinda shears. Awesome product!

Rated 2 out of 5 by Nameless from Handle broke second time out. I was cutting bait into chunks and one of the handles snapped. I understand that tools have limitations, but the pair of "office" scissors used previously withstood way more abuse ( Admittedly, I bought these for asthetics).

CAN SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THESE SHEARS BEING DETACHABLE?
Hello, The area between the blades, particularly near the handle, can be difficult to clean so the shears to detach to make cleaning easier. This is especially important in marine environments, you want to make sure you rinse with fresh water and thoroughly dry after each use to maintain corrosion- free blades and optimal cutting performance. We hope this explanation helps! The Cuda Team

How do these hold up to saltwater use? More specifically too rust? I know these were designed in the USA, but where were they actually manufactured? Thank you.
Thanks for your question! These marine shears are manufactured in China. They are designed for saltwater. The stainless steel blades are Titanium Bonded so they have increased rust and corrosion-resistance. We highly recommend rinsing them with fresh water and thoroughly drying after each use to help maintain the blades. Regards, The Cuda Team
